The Honda Base Station is designed to be towed by compact SUVs, including the Honda CR-V—yes, the same CR-V that’s been America’s best-selling SUV for 25 years. That means camping doesn’t require upgrading to a massive truck or changing your entire lifestyle. For the preview, it was displayed with the Honda Passport Trailsport.
It’s also compatible with popular vehicles like the Toyota RAV4 and possibly even electric SUVs like the Honda Prologue. Translation: real accessibility, not just aspirational marketing.

Honda has always been known for smart design, and that shows up beautifully here.
Even though the Base Station is compact enough to fit in a standard garage or parking space, the interior feels open, airy, and intentional.
